New six-seat chairlift will be opening up in St Gervais Mont Blanc this coming winter thanks to the continued investment of the lift pass company - this time for 8.5m euro.
New 6-seater high speed detachable chairlift installed at Les Chattrix, near St Nicolas de Veroce this year. This €8.5 million development replaces the old very, very slow 2 person chair that was there but took forever to get up! Not only will the access be better from that end of the valley but will also allow skiers starting in the St Gervais end to ski to Les Chattrix and back in a session. The new lift will pick up a large amount of skiers per hour and will be more comfortable and safer for all. Plus the recent modifications made to the blue Chattrix run make the descent more easily accessible to all skiers, even begginers.
This is the 6th new chairlift to be fitted in St Gervais in recent years and shows the STMBA's (lift pass company) commitment to modernising the lifts and the ski area.
